This pic was taken in the summer of 2004. I had to scan it - was still before we had a digital camera - but the zoom capabilities were way better. New scanner not so good. :o(
Glacial ice just amazes me; a five year old cannot even begin to grasp the age of this ice. It's however a shame to see how much has melted since the last time we were here in 2004 before we had Stirling. What a majestic site!

These were two shots that were most similar the newest being taken further back - the old one doesn't show the ice and snow between the two peaks as well as the new either.
